Furniture Delivery & Appliance Installation in Sikeston, MO

Most furniture stores consider delivery complete when the item reaches your front door. That’s not how we define it. Our delivery team brings furniture inside, positions it where you want it, removes packaging, and makes sure everything looks right before they leave. For appliances, we complete the full installation — connections, leveling, required hardware, and a confirmed working check. We don’t hand off that responsibility to you.

Furniture Delivery

When your furniture arrives, the delivery team brings it to the room where it’s going — not just to the nearest ground-floor entry. For upstairs rooms, they navigate stairs. For tight hallways and doorways, they have the tools and training to handle the geometry without damaging walls or frames.

Once the piece is in place, the team checks that it’s positioned where you want it before they consider the job done. If it needs to move three feet to the left, that happens before they leave, not after a “sorry, we can’t come back for adjustments” phone call.

Packaging removal is included. Your new sofa or dining set shouldn’t leave you with a garage full of cardboard.

What we ask from you before delivery:
  • Know which room and which wall you want the piece against — having a plan saves everyone time
  • Measure any narrow doorways or stair landings in advance if your space has unusual constraints; we can talk through tight fits before delivery day
  • Clear the path from the front entry to the destination room

Appliance Installation

Installing an appliance correctly requires more than sliding it into position. The specifics vary by appliance type, and our team handles each category differently.
Refrigerators
A refrigerator installation includes positioning, leveling (doors that aren’t level don’t seal properly), and water line connection for models with ice makers and water dispensers. If your new refrigerator has a door hinge orientation that doesn’t work for your kitchen layout, we can reverse the door swing. We verify the unit is cooling before we leave.
 
Cooktops
Cooktops range installation includes confirming the correct 240-volt outlet is present and functional before we connect. We install the anti-tip bracket  a wall or floor anchor required by appliance safety codes that prevents a range from tipping forward when weight is applied to an open oven door. It’s a step that gets skipped when delivery is done carelessly. We don’t skip it. We also level the unit and confirm all burners and the oven function correctly.
 
Washers and Dryers
Washer installation includes water supply line connections (hot and cold) and drain hose positioning. Dryer installation covers the electrical connection for electric models and the vent duct connection. A dryer that isn’t properly vented is a fire hazard  vent connection is not optional, and we don’t treat it as optional. We confirm both units run before we leave.

What We Don't Do

We are transparent about this because it affects how you plan: Kingsway does not perform in-house appliance repair or long-term maintenance service. If an appliance you purchased from us later develops a mechanical issue, we will refer you to qualified local service technicians in the Sikeston area who work on the brands we sell. We maintain those referral relationships specifically because our customers need a reliable path to service after purchase.

Delivery is coordinated when you purchase. Any team member in our showroom can schedule your delivery at the time of sale. We work with your schedule, not against it.

For communities close to Sikeston, most deliveries can be scheduled within a short window after purchase. For communities further out in the region — Poplar Bluff, Cape Girardeau, Kennett — our team will give you honest timing based on routing and availability.
